Buy several bags of fun size candy for the class, so that each child will get 2 candy bars. All the problems and answers are to be written on the board. Review of math facts...

Teacher starts out by writing on the board 5 x 5 =

1. Write 25. Play patty cake with a friend, take a candy bar and write 7 x 5 =

2. Write 35. Say the colors of the rainbow Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet. Then say them backwards without looking. Take a candy bar and write 8 / 4 =

3. Write 2. Take two candy bars, walk around the room 2 times, then give a candy bar to a girl with blue eyes. Keep one for yourself. Write 2 x 7 =

4. Write 14. Ask this question to the class. "What year was chocolate first introduced to the United States?" Have everyone write their guess on a piece of paper. Say the answer: 1765 Give a candy bar to the person who comes the closest to that year. Take a candy bar for yourself. Write 8 x 12 =
