(Hope this is OK! These are kind of fun!)

When the teacher says, "Begin," go to the board and draw a large square.

When you see a square on the board, go draw a circle inside it.

When you see a circle inside a square on the board, clap your hands three times.

When you hear someone clap 3 times, stand up. Remain standing. When you see someone stand up, switch seats with them.

When you see two of your classmates switch seats, close the classroom door.

When someone closes the classroom door, say "School is cool!"

When someone says "School is cool!", go to the board and draw a happy face inside the circle.

When you see a happy face on the board, sit on the floor.

When you see someone sitting on the floor, raise your right hand.

When you see someone raise their right hand, walk to the window and then back to your seat.

When you see someone walk to the window and back to their seat, turn off the classroom lights.

When the classroom lights go off, sing Mary Had a Little Lamb.

When someone sings Mary Had a Little Lamb, turn the classroom lights back on.

When the classroom lights are turned back on, touch your toes.

When you see someone touch their toes, walk to the teacher's desk.

When you see someone walk to the teacher's desk, say "Mrs. Ranieri is the best teacher we've ever had!"

When someone says "Mrs. Ranieri is the best teacher we've ever had!", say "Right on!"

When someone says "Right on!", hold your pencil in the air.

When you see someone hold their pencil in the air, say "Please put your pencil on your desk."

When someone returns their pencil to their desk, raise your left hand.

When someone raises their left hand, say "Sixth grade rules!"

When someone says "Sixth grade rules!", label the square on the board with N, S, E, and W.

When someone labels the square on the board with N, S, E, and W, hold your English book on your head.

When someone puts their English book on their head, say "Please put that book back on your desk!"

When someone puts their English book on their desk, say "Everyone please take your seats. The listening game is over!"
