Thank You
There is some adult in your life who deserves a thank you from you. Perhaps it is a neighbor who is kind to you or has done something special for you. Maybe you have a grandparent, aunt, or uncle who has helped you or given you special love. Often we take our parents for granted and need to say thank you to them. Now is your chance to "give." Give some adult a gift of warmth and thanks.
For English this week you are to write a letter to an adult. Work hard on your letter to show that adult how much he/she is appreciated. Bring a smile to this face. Give a little happiness.
You are to hand in only your scratch copy. The good copy should be delivered to the adult you have chosen. If you need to mail the letter, do so. Otherwise, deliver it by hand. Be sure to use good letter form, good paragraphs, and good handwriting.
Remember you are judged by what you say and how well you say it.
