Noun and Verb Activity

I give each group of 2 or 3 students a big block letter, 14 inches by 11 inches, that I cut out in the forms of an N, O, U, N or V, E, R, B. Each group cuts out picture examples of nouns or verbs from magazines, catalogues etc. and glue them onto the big block letter. I put the letters together that spell NOUN on a board with the definition of noun on a banner.
