Adjective Adventures
Crazy Camouflage
Submitted by: Shirley Meschke
Start by telling the kids that their assignment for tomorrow is to dress up in outrageously colorful and contrasting outfits. Begin the next day by having each student draw the name of a classmate out of a hat. Instruct each student to use adjectives to write about the person whose name he drew, without revealing that person's identity. Exchange paper and have students take turns reading the descriptions. The class will enjoy trying to guess the identity of each person being described.
