Weekly Paragraphs

Print each of these activities separately and give a copy to each student.

Week 19

Allowances

    Do you get an allowance?  Do you think you should have one?  Why? How much money do you think you should earn?  How would you earn it? How should you spend your allowance?   Think about this subject.

    This week you are to write at least two paragraphs.  Choose two ideas about allowances.  Your are to write four or five sentences to support each idea.  Each paragraph will need  a topic sentence.  Your first paragraph will need a concluding sentence which will lead to the second paragraph.   Think about all the things we talked about in class.

    Remember it takes good thinking to write a good paragraph.
