What Would They Say?
If Abe Lincoln and George Washington were to meet, what would they talk about? Here is your chance to take part in history. Write a conversation between these famous men. Each man must speak at least three different times. Use three examples of placement of words which tell who is speaking (before, after, or between the spoken words).
1) Be sure to check your punctuation and quotation marks.
2) Use good synonyms for said.
3) Check your English book for examples of quotations.
4) Do you have your name, date, and title of your story?
