Journal prompts 2
(also used for conversation starters)

Note: I’ve forgotten the original lesson plan, but I have used them as conversation starters: Students are put into random pairs, then one of the partners closes his/her eyes and runs finger down the list until the leader says stop. Where the finger stops, this person uses this prompt to talk to his/her partner. They change roles after a few minutes, then change partners. I have also used this list for journal starters.
