Self Expressing Earth
Take a look at Self*Expressing*Earth. It's an on-line unit for grades 3-8 that combines poetry writing with the basics of ecology - cycles of the earth, etc. Students share their poems in a Web conference area and compare notes. Journaling activities, too.
